The ring, made of aged 925 hypoallergenic silver, illustrates the Medusa, considered by the Romans to be a protector and faithful ally, a symbol keeping away hostile and evil people, the profane and all enemies.

As a warning to enemies it was always placed as protomes on ships, on perimeter walls, stone carvings in harbours, studs on shields and in relief in armour for generals and important people. A unique jewel full of history for a special person.
